June 28 Event | "Coffee Scented Sachet" Workshop using Isesaki Meisen at Starbucks Isesaki Shimodoji Store

We are pleased to announce a workshop featuring Isesaki Meisen, to be held on Saturday, June 28th, at the Starbucks Isesaki Shimomichiji store. This is our third workshop, following our previous "Cup Sleeve Making" and "Coaster Making" events.

This time, as a project to help you feel even closer to Starbucks coffee, we will be holding a:

"Coffee Scent Pouch Making"

workshop.

Take the scent of coffee home

Usually, coffee is something you enjoy at the shop.

In this workshop, we will be crafting original scent pouches using Isesaki Meisen so that you can enjoy the aroma of coffee in your daily life as well.

You can choose your favorite Meisen fabric to create a one-of-a-kind scent pouch of your own.

More than just a coffee aroma. It also deodorizes.

These scent pouches use materials derived from coffee. Did you know that besides having a lovely aroma, coffee also has deodorizing properties?

It is said that the microscopic pores in coffee absorb unpleasant odors.

Therefore, we recommend placing your finished pouch:

・In your bag
・In your shoe cabinet
・In your closet
・Around your desk

Enjoy a comfortable space filled with the scent of coffee, along with your favorite Isesaki Meisen pattern.

Making Isesaki Meisen more accessible

Isesaki Meisen was once a representative textile of Isesaki, beloved throughout Japan.

At Ay, we create various products and host workshops so that people can enjoy Isesaki Meisen in their modern lives.

This is a special project that combines time spent at Starbucks with the culture of Isesaki. We hope this will be a workshop you can enjoy while waiting for your coffee, while making your craft, and even after you take it home.
