Ironing from the lining will preserve the texture of the silk fabric. Iron at low temperature over the pressing cloth.

What is Meisen?
Isesaki Meisen was worn by Japanese women in bright colors during the Meiji, Taisho, and Showa periods as casual and fashionable clothing. It was a highly specialized industry and was produced by many highly skilled craftsmen. The production process, which involves 14 steps, is a culture born out of the collaboration of craftsmen who specialize in each step. Currently, production is considered impossible due to the aging population and shrinking market. Ay was born to weave rare meisen and local culture into the modern era.
